Show me a loose-leaning, enlightened church that’s seen its membership leave in droves, and I’ll show you a Bible-believing church in the same area that’s growing by leaps and bounds.

PRESENTING

THE LATEST BOOK

Is Jesus the only way to Heaven? What should we believe about gender and sexuality? What part should the Church play in politics? These are just a few of the many questions being asked by Christians, the spiritually curious, and the openly antagonistic alike.

But is Christianity a buffet? Did Jesus divide His teachings for us to pick and choose based on our feelings or current appetite?

In Inerrancy, George Shamblin argues that how Christians view biblical inerrancy (the infallible truth of the Bible) is the main point on which the Church will stand or fall, that it is the most critical issue facing modern Christianity.

GEORGE SHAMBLIN

In the summer of 1995, George Shamblin left a successful career in pharmaceutical sales to enroll at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Though he experienced more than his share of challenges and setbacks over the next 28 years, it’s a decision he never regretted.

Since 2012, Shamblin has been a pastor at The Center for Executive Leadership in Birmingham, Alabama, where he teaches Bible Studies and disciples others at various stages of spiritual growth. He serves on the board of Reel-Life International and has been an adjunct professor at Birmingham Theological Seminary. In 2023, he and his brother Keith co-founded a missions ministry, The Overseas Initiative.

Shamblin published his first book, The Relay, in 2020 and was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who that same year. An avid outdoorsman, as well as a Master Gardener, George and his wife of 30 years, Jill, have four children Sydney, Bailey, Miller, and George Jr.

Jesus never watered down the truth to make it more appealing —
neither should we.

BEHIND THE CALLING OF THE BOOK

"Inerrancy is an unashamed affirmation of the truth of Scripture"

Inerrancy Illustrations_Final_Placement-08 1 (2)
Inerrancy is an unashamed affirmation of the truth of Scripture and its importance to the future of God’s Church. It’s also a reminder that compromise is a slippery slope—that Christians and churches who sacrifice Scripture on the altar of cultural relevance will eventually find themselves conceding principle after principle until their reason for existence is left behind. Through real-world examples and personal stories, with a bit of humor and plenty of hard truths, Shamblin shares how the ultimate truth of God’s Word can and should act as the ultimate filter for everything we face in the world.

THIS IS IMPORTANT

NO MORE DISCLAIMERS

“No more apologizing for our belief in the authority of the Bible as God’s Word. Christians tripping over themselves to apologize has always struck me as odd, especially considering how we’ve experienced Jesus in the realest of ways. “Come and see for yourself” is what our Faith’s Founder has to say. What’s required is to take a first step towards “a far more excellent way.”
